UpSet Plot is a native iPhone and iPad app for seeing how sets overlap. Your plots stay on the device.
Frequently asked questions
How do I export a plot?
Open a plot, stay on the Plot tab, then tap the share button. Choose Share image or Save to Photos. iOS will ask once for permission to add photos. In Settings you can export a transparent PNG and turn the watermark on or off.
How do I import CSV or JSON?
Open a plot, switch to the Data tab, then tap the ••• menu and choose Import CSV or JSON. You will see a preview before anything is replaced. The same menu exports JSON or CSV. CSV columns are set names; each row is one member.
How do I add members and sets?
On the Data tab, tap Add to create a set. Type a name in the bar at the bottom to add a member. Tap a circle to include that member in a set. There are no nested dialogs for membership.
What does Insights do?
The Insights tab writes the plot in plain language: exclusive members, deepest overlaps, and how large each set is. Tap a column on the plot to see the members in that combination.
How do I rename or delete a plot?
In the Library, swipe a card left or touch and hold it. You can rename, duplicate, or delete. Deleting a plot cannot be undone. Inside a plot, tap the title to rename it or edit the note.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Sets, members, and settings stay on this device. We do not run a cloud account or sync. If you share or save an image, or export a file, that file only leaves the device because you chose to send it.
Why do I see an ad or a tracking prompt?
The app shows an occasional full-screen App Open ad after you have used it and return from the background. The first launch after onboarding does not show one. iOS may ask whether UpSet Plot can track you across apps for more relevant ads. You can tap Ask App Not to Track and keep using the app; ads can still appear, just not personalized.
How do I switch Light and Dark Mode?
Open Settings from the Library (gear) and set Appearance to System, Light, or Dark.
