This policy explains how Japality Limited (“we”, “us”) handles information in the UpSet Plot iOS app (the “App”).
Plots, sets, members, colors, notes, and settings are saved only on your iPhone or iPad. We do not create accounts, and we do not operate a server that receives your plot files.
We do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number inside the App.
If you export a PNG, save to Photos, or share CSV/JSON, iOS sends that file only to the place you pick (Photos, Mail, Files, another app). That is your action, not automatic upload to us.
The App shows occasional Google AdMob App Open ads after onboarding, when you return to the App from the background. Ads are not shown during the first-run introduction.
To measure ads and, if you allow it, show more relevant ads, Google may collect identifiers and device information. Typical items include:
On iOS we show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before personalized tracking. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, you can still use every feature of the App. Ads may still appear; they will not use the IDFA for cross-app tracking.
We do not sell your information. We do not use your plot contents for advertising.

Advertising is provided by Google AdMob. Google acts as an independent controller for the advertising data it collects. We do not receive a copy of your plots through AdMob.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Local plot data remains until you delete a plot, delete the App, or erase the device. Advertising data retained by Google is governed by Google’s policy.
Japality Limited may be located in a different country from you. If you use the App, advertising partners may process data in the United States and other regions where they operate.
We may update this page. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the revised policy.
