These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MolSketchGo mobile application (the "App" or "Service") provided by Japality Limited ("we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in Hong Kong.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
MolSketchGo is a mobile tool for drawing, editing, visualising, and exporting chemical structures. Features may include 2D editing, 3D viewing, import/export (e.g. SMILES, MOL, SDF, PNG), PubChem lookup, and optional ad-free access through MolSketchGo Pro subscriptions.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent.
Paid subscriptions are governed by these Terms and our Subscription Terms, which are incorporated by reference.
The free version of the App may display third-party advertisements (e.g. via Google AdMob). Ad content is provided by third parties; we do not endorse advertised products or services.
You retain ownership of molecular structures and drawings you create. You are solely responsible for your content and for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and institutional policies (e.g. academic integrity).
Drawings are stored locally on your device unless you export or share them using system share features.
Certain features use the PubChem API operated by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), U.S. National Library of Medicine. NCBI does not endorse MolSketchGo.
Chemical names, structures, properties, and data from the App or third-party APIs (including IUPAC names, SMILES, InChI, and PubChem results) are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
We do not warrant accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for verifying all chemical information before use in research, teaching, publication, safety assessment, or commercial activity. Japality Limited is not liable for errors or consequences arising from reliance on such data.

The App, including its design, code, and branding (excluding your drawings and third-party data), is owned by Japality Limited or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JAPALITY LIMITED AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) USD $10.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Japality Limited from claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in Hong Kong shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date on this page.
