These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the hexJapality mobile application (“App”) provided by Japality Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company incorporated in Hong Kong. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
hexJapality lets you view and edit binary files on your device. Features may change over time. We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App without prior notice.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable app store rules.
Remove Ads is an auto-renewable subscription that removes in-app advertising while your subscription is active. Plans may include monthly and yearly options. Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region.
Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current price.
Management: You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device account settings (iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions).
Restore: Use “Restore purchases” in the App if you reinstall or change devices.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We do not process payments directly.
Without an active Remove Ads subscription, the App may display third-party advertisements. Ad serving is subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable consent flows.
The App, its design, and our branding are owned by Japality Limited or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT EDITS TO FILES WILL BE RECOVERABLE. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK. ALWAYS BACK UP IMPORTANT DATA.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JAPALITY LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR HKD 100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or these Terms. For iOS, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of applicable end-user licence terms as required by Apple’s guidelines.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Courts in Hong Kong shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence where applicable.
