Rules for using Amino Acids OTG.

These Terms govern your use of the Amino Acids OTG mobile application and related pages published by Japality Limited at app.japality.com/aminoacidsotg/.

1. Agreement

By downloading or using Amino Acids OTG (“the App”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The App

Amino Acids OTG is an educational study companion for amino acids, including flashcards, quizzes, a codon table, and mistake review. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial learning unless we agree otherwise in writing.

3. Free tier and advertising

The free version of the App may display advertisements through Google AdMob. Ad delivery may depend on your region, device settings, and consent choices (including App Tracking Transparency on iOS and Google User Messaging Platform where applicable). See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Premium subscription (Remove Ads)

Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) that removes in-app banner, interstitial, and app-open advertisements. Learning features are unchanged.

  • Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Management: You can manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or via the App’s subscription screen.
  • Restore: Use “Restore Purchases” in the App if you reinstall or change devices.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.
  • Entitlement validation: We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status; we do not receive your payment card details.

Premium is currently offered on iOS. Availability on other platforms may be added later.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where law permits.
  • Use the App in any unlawful manner or in violation of applicable regulations.
  • Interfere with ads, subscription validation, or security features.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and original content are owned by Japality Limited or its licensors. Third-party libraries are subject to their respective open-source licenses (see in-app Licenses). Wikipedia and other external links are owned by their respective publishers.

7. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” for educational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that content is error-free or suitable for any particular academic or professional purpose. You use the App at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Japality Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms when features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
