Amino Acids OTG Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Amino Acids OTG app (iOS and Android) and related pages at app.japality.com/aminoacidsotg/ published by Japality Limited.

2. Information the app may handle

Local app preferences such as language choice, theme, quiz settings, display mode preferences, and mistake review history.
Information you choose to send when contacting support by email, such as your email address and the contents of your message.
Advertising-related and device data processed by third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob, which may include device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, diagnostics, or ad performance data depending on platform settings and user consent.

3. How information is used

To remember your study preferences and improve your in-app experience.
To respond to support requests and product questions.
To display ads and measure ad delivery through third-party advertising services.
To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app.

4. App Tracking Transparency on iOS

On iOS, Amino Acids OTG may request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you grant permission, advertising partners may use that permission to provide more relevant advertising according to their own policies. If you deny permission, the app may still display ads, but they may be less personalized.

5. Advertising and consent (free tier)

If you do not have an active Premium subscription, the App may display ads through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Depending on your region and choices, AdMob and partners may process device identifiers, IP address, coarse location, and ad interaction data.

On iOS we may request App Tracking Transparency before personalized ads where required. In applicable regions, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may present a consent form before ads load. You can change ad personalization through device or in-app privacy settings where available.

6. Premium subscriptions

Premium removes in-app advertising. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store (and Google Play when available). We do not receive payment card details.

We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status and deliver the ad-free entitlement. RevenueCat may receive an app user identifier, product identifiers, purchase and renewal status, and store receipt data needed for validation. See RevenueCat Privacy.

7. Other third-party services

Google AdMob: policies.google.com/privacy
Apple / Google platform services for distribution and in-app purchases.
External links (e.g. Wikipedia) are governed by the destination site.

8. Data storage and retention

Local preferences are stored on your device until you clear app data, uninstall the app, or reset settings within the app.
Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, follow up, or keep support records.
Third-party service providers may retain data according to their own retention schedules and policies.

9. Your choices

You can decide whether to grant App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS.
You can manage ad and tracking permissions through your device settings.
You can stop using the app at any time and remove locally stored app data by uninstalling the app.
You can contact Japality Limited to ask privacy-related questions.

10. Children's privacy

Amino Acids OTG is an educational app. Japality Limited does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through account registration or in-app forms. If you believe personal information has been provided to us in error through support communications, please contact us.

11. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
