SpeakToDoList ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains our data practices in detail.

Simple Summary: SpeakToDoList is a fully offline application. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers. Everything stays on your device.

Data Collection

We collect ZERO data.

SpeakToDoList operates entirely offline. We do NOT:

• Collect personal information
• Track app usage or behavior
• Send analytics or telemetry data
• Use advertising SDKs or trackers
• Connect to external servers
• Upload your tasks or voice memos
• Require account registration
• Access your contacts, photos, or other apps
• Share data with third parties

Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device:

• Tasks and descriptions
• Voice recordings and memos
• Settings and preferences
• Achievement progress and badges
• Due dates and reminders

Permissions

Microphone Permission

When you choose to record a voice memo for a task, we request microphone permission. This permission is used exclusively for:

• Recording voice memos within the app
• Saving audio files locally on your device

Important: No audio data is transmitted over the internet. All recordings remain on your device. You can delete recordings at any time, and you can revoke microphone permission in iOS Settings.

Notifications Permission

We request notification permission to send you:

• Task due date reminders
• Task completion confirmations
• Achievement badge unlocks

All notifications are generated locally on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.

Data Security

We take data security seriously:

• Local encryption: All data stored on your device is encrypted with SQLCipher
• Unique keys: Each device has its own encryption key
• Secure storage: Keys are protected by iOS Keychain
• No transmission: Your data never leaves your device
• No cloud sync: We don't use iCloud or any cloud services

Third-Party Services

SpeakToDoList does NOT use any third-party services, including:

• Analytics providers (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• Advertising networks
• Social media integrations
• Cloud storage services
• Crash reporting tools

The only exception is Google AdMob for displaying ads in specific screens. AdMob may collect limited device information for ad serving purposes. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices at Google Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

SpeakToDoList does not collect any data from children or adults. The app is safe for users of all ages. No personal information is ever collected, regardless of the user's age.

Data Portability & Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Full ownership: All data belongs to you and stays on your device
• Easy deletion: Delete the app to remove all data instantly
• No account closure: No account means nothing to close or delete
• No data requests: We can't provide your data because we never receive it

Your Rights

Under various privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have certain rights regarding your personal data. However, since SpeakToDoList does not collect any personal data:

• Right to access: All your data is already on your device
• Right to deletion: Simply delete the app
• Right to portability: Your data is always portable as it's on your device
• Right to opt-out: There's nothing to opt out of - we don't collect data

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through an in-app message. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will reflect when changes were made.

Continued use of SpeakToDoList after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
