Gomoku OTG (the “App”) is published by Japality Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains what information is collected and how it is used when you use the App on iOS.

Summary

We do not require an account and do not collect personal information directly.
The App works offline. Game settings and statistics are stored locally on your device.
We show banner ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device information to serve ads. If you deny tracking via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT), we request non-personalized ads.

Game settings (e.g., difficulty, board size, visual/theme preferences)
Basic gameplay statistics (wins/losses, play time) – if enabled

These items are saved on your device using system storage. We do not receive or transmit this data to our servers.

Third-party advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display banner ads. Depending on your ATT choice and Google’s policies, AdMob may process:

Advertising Identifier (IDFA) – only if you grant ATT permission
Approximate location, IP address, device and app information
Ad performance metrics (impressions, clicks, error logs)

When ATT is denied, we request non-personalized ads. AdMob’s data handling is governed by Google’s terms and policies:

Your Choices

ATT Permission: iOS will ask whether to allow tracking. You can change this later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Ad Personalization: When ATT is denied, we request non-personalized ads from AdMob.
Local Data: To remove locally stored settings/statistics, you can delete the app from your device.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not run our own servers and only store data locally, there is no server-side data to delete. For concerns, please contact us.

International Transfers

AdMob is provided by Google, which may process data on servers located in various countries. Please refer to Google’s privacy policy for details.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
