App Icon Generator (the “App”) is provided by Japality Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, how it’s used, and your choices.
Summary
- No account and no sign-up. We dont ask you to enter personal details.
- Icon generation happens on your device. We dont upload your images to our servers.
- We show banner ads via Google AdMob, which may collect device and ad-related data.

Information We Process
Information you provide
The App does not require an account and does not collect personal information you directly provide. When you generate icons, all processing occurs locally on the device.
Automatically collected information (Advertising)
We use Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. AdMob and its partners may collect certain information from your device such as advertising identifiers, approximate location, IP address, app usage events, and device information for purposes including ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and (subject to your consent) ad personalization.

Local storage on your device
The App stores limited preferences on your device (e.g., your selected language and whether onboarding was completed). These values do not leave your device unless you back up or transfer them with your OS features.
Advertising identifiers and Your Choices (Android)
On Android, advertising identifiers and consent are managed through Google Play services and device settings. You can control ad personalization and reset advertising identifiers in your device settings. If ad loading fails or personalization is disabled, the App wont show a banner ad in that space.
Tracking Transparency and Your Choices (iOS)
On iOS 14+ we may request permission via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) for advertising purposes. You can grant or deny this request. You may also change your choice anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
If you decline tracking or if ad loading fails, the App won’t show a banner ad in that space.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate the App—primarily with Google (AdMob) to serve ads. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
International Users and Legal Bases
If you are in the EEA/UK, our legal basis for processing advertising data is usually your consent (where required), which you can provide or withdraw via ATT and/or device settings. You may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information held by third parties like Google; please refer to their privacy resources linked above. You can also contact us and we’ll help route your request where feasible.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Data Retention
Preferences are stored locally until you uninstall the App or clear the app data. Any assets you generate remain on your device or wherever you choose to export/share them.
Security
We design the App so that image processing is local and does not require uploading your images to our servers. Nevertheless, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, where required, provide additional notice in the App.
